Personal Care Worker (PCW) or Support Worker

We are an NDIS Approved provider and for the last ten years, we have providedtargeted support and accommodation, to the most vulnerable people in the SouthAustralian community who need assistance to get back on track.

Our team provides services which are notonly flexible and designed around needs, but also around special interests,life aspirations and the goals of each individual.

We are looking for dedicated, enthusiasticand caring people to join our team. People who are willing and able to workclosely with clients who have disabilities and/or mental illness.

As aPersonal Care Worker, you will provide a variety of support including but notlimited to:

·        Assisting clients with ADLs.

·        ROOM CLEANING

·        Cleaning the facility and afterthe residents

·        Food preparation and cooking

·        Support with meals

·        Social support

·        Assisting clients with appointments

Successfulapplicants will have: (Please DO NOT send application, if the followingare not met)

·        Cert III in Individual Support (Disability)

·        Or Social Work Diploma / Certificate

·        Or any course related

·                    EN / RN

·        Current Senior First Aid Certificate

·        Current Manual Handling Certificate

·        Medication Management Certificate or Medication CalculationCertificate or Assist with Medication

·        Current DCSI Screening (Disability ServicesEmployment)

·        Good communication skills

·        Available to cover a shift and to work more than 20 hours

·        Has driver’s license (2 years or more full licence)

·        Has a reliable car with comprehensive insurance

·        Has knowledge of NDIS and how it works

·        Willing to do a sleepover shift.

·        Flexible time to work in a variety of shifts.
