11 hrs every week, 1000/4=250 AUD per week
which means 11hrs 250 AUD===> up to 25 dollars AUD
If the contract lasts 2 years, which equals 24 months, then totally you can earn 1003*24=24072.
Assuming every week you need to spend 10 AUD for gasoline, then 10*104 weeks=1040 AUD.
Then the total cost will be 5500+1040=6540 AUD
Income 24072- expense 6540= 17532.
17532/104 weeks=169 AUD
169/11=15 AUD, that's your salary per hour.
Although it doesn't look very high, it still higher that some cleaner job which is only 13, 14 dollars per hour. However, it is based on the assumption that the contract will last 2 years.
To be honest, it seems too optimistic. In fact, the contract could be much shorter than 2 years. That means the 5500 AUD purchasing cost will have more negative effect on your profit. And pls remind yourself you have to bug all the equipment. I haven't account in the accumulated depreciation and the cost you must spend in the cleaning materials.
The only advantage of this contract is the flexibility of the working hour. You can work at any time you want after the office closed. I think lots of people will have time to do it.
So my opinion is: whether you buy or not largely depends on the length of this contract.
So hope the seller will provide the length of this contract asap. It helps selling the contract out.
