northeast is generally good, for a price of 40k you can get a nice 4-bedroom house on a 500-600 square meter land, but won't be able to buy a new house. But I think a house with 30-40 years history isn't too old, especially in South Australia where quality was always the first in the mindset of older generation. I bought two houses in Christie Downs, both were built in 60-70s, and still very reliable and comfy.
Therefore if you are looking for properties in the northeast, there isn't much to say, just find any areas within your budget and look for a house you want. |
