I am a bit frustrated with the Clarion products. Got a MAX384vd few years ago and now I am trying to connect my ipone to this dvd player through CCUiPOD1 (as recommended by Clarion officers) now I being told that I require a CCUiPOD2 for a proper function.
Yes, when i plugged CCUiPOD1 cable to my iphone, the dvd player doesnt show any musc list that I am playing with. the only thing I can to is to change the modes to other players, i.e: FM mode, dvd mode, navigation modes, etc. as for Ipod mode I can only control via my iphone.
I called Clarion and they asked me to use CCUiPOD2 instead but require a firmware updates for my dvd player.
Any experts encountered this similar issues before? or do you have any other better solutions?
