固定表达through the grapevine,直意是“顺着葡萄藤来的”,在口语中,经常用来表示那些获得那些还没有经过官方发布的、小道消息,只是人与人之间口口相传的流言蜚语。英文的解释是,“The informal transmission of information, gossip, or rumor from person to person.”。
例句:
