哦是吗？那不知道了。我们会计老师不会去检查这个部分，因为大部分都是算的。网上也没答案！

but we are adviced to use it before submitting out assignments and hell ya, we are supposed to check our assignments before submitting it.

that's impossible, first of all as a student you won't have the privilege to access other students' written assignments which is essential in plagiarism analysis

omg~~~~ i think there's a misunderstanding going there, the software we are using only allows us to submit our assignment and check through it and it will tell us how similar it is to the original article and i bet you not, i have used that several times already.

The software basically runs on the principle that it compares the words between submitted assignment and provided ones. Are you trying to compare your work with the referenced paper?? As long as you make proper referencing there should be no problem.

According to the standard I learned before(something Harvard standard if not mistaken), any phase with three or more words identical to the original must be referenced; you may quote the whole sentence provided with full referencing

yea, i was trying to compare my assignment with the original ones, but that's ok, I am pretty confident with my assignment, cheers, thanks for your help. =) what course are you doing at flinders?
